~Announcements~

 

 Welcome to all those visiting our church family today!  We hope you experience a warm welcome and the Spirit of the LORD among us.  Please sign the Fellowship Book as it is passed to you and view the names of those around you!  Thanks for worshipping with us today! 

 

Praise/Prayer Requests:  Tina Durasek – spouse has cancer; Pastor’s expanded counseling ministry in Adrian; Harold Jeffrey – Recovering from Heart Bypass surgery; Need for High School leader; Shirley Garmany – upcoming knee surgery; Steve Wright – needs $1,300 this month to complete his missions trip with the World Race.  He returns to the states on Monday, Nov. 24th.

 

This Week – Pastor Bob will be traveling with nine high school teens on a Christian College trip.  Next Sunday, Chris Walker, missionary to New Guinea, will be our special speaker.  Chris was with us four years ago and will be bringing an update on his work with New Tribes Mission.  We will be taking a special offering to help with his expenses.

 

Worship Seminar – We are having a special worship concert and seminar on Sunday, Nov. 30th at our church.  Jon Schoonmaker will be our special guest as he ministers to us and teaches us important aspects of Worship.  You won’t want to miss this one!

 

Church Basketball!  The fall basketball church league starts Nov. 12th.  If you’re interested in playing for our team, please see Justin Anspach for details!  Practice is at 7:00pm at Britton High School Gym.

 

Church Potluck and Business Meeting!  Today after the morning service we are having a church Potluck and Quarterly Business Meeting.  Please stay!  Many have brought food, the church is providing rolls, beverages and place settings.  After lunch, we will have a brief meeting to update members and interested others on the business of the church.  Please stay and enjoy the food and fellowship!

 

Baptism services will be held on Sunday, Nov. 23rd during the evening service.  We have three who will be participating.  All off-site groups will be meeting at church.  Cake and ice cream to follow.  Don’t miss it!
